J-Box Server

The J-Box products provide advanced new voice, media and messaging features for end users, then leverage the resulting business intelligence in order to win new network subscriptions.

The J-Box network server products are provided as a carrier grade application platform that can be deployed as a hosted solution or in the mobile network. The system controls voice, media and messaging traffic, as well as providing comprehensive support for real time billing, location and presence features.

J-Box is a Java based platform, allowing for deployment on commodity hardware. The system also incorporates standards based interfaces such as the OneAPI enablers specified by the GSMA. This allows other third party Apps to benefit from advanced J-Box capabilities and drive increased mobile operator revenues. For example, EirText from AppSandwich has been at the top of Appleʼs list of all time most popular Apps in the Irish AppStore for some time and uses OneAPI interfaces on J-Box to access mobile network features.

Similarly, standards based interfaces are used within the J-Box business intelligence features, for ease of connection to existing mobile operator reporting, advertising campaign management and data analysis platforms.
